Brand Representatives

The German Fire Protection Association (vfdb)

The German Fire Protection Association (vfdb) was established in Stuttgart in 1950 with the goal of supporting research, development and innovation in the civil public safety sector. Within an international framework, the vfdb is the German representative for civil public safety.

Civil public safety entails an intricate interplay between prevention, operational safety protection in the event of a disaster and a complex organizational and leadership structure. In Germany, these complex collaborative efforts have reached a high level of safety that is recognized internationally.

The vfdb is also a Member of CFPA Europe (Confederation of Fire Protection Association) and contributes together with the German Association of Firefighters, to the work of the CTIF (Comité Technique International de prévention et d’extinction du Feu).
